Who Can Apply for a Graduate Student Grant

Graduate Student Grant requirements

This grant is open to graduate students enrolled at an accredited college, university, or veterinary school in the Northeast region.


To qualify, you must have a faculty advisor who will endorse the proposal, oversee the research, and act as the official principal investigator.

Applications must come from one qualified individual--groups or two-person teams may not participate. Collaboration is encouraged, but one person must be in charge of the project, making sure the work is done and reports are filed.

The Northeast region

The region is made up of Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
