On-farm production of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi has the potential to enhance some vegetable crops' capacity to take up nutrients and water and also reduce disease pressure and the need for inputs. The project manager will explore the on-farm production of AM fungi and their use as an inocula to boost tomato production. Results will be shared with vegetable producers across Maine and New England.
