Over three decades this all-volunteer producers' association has managed educational programs, youth shows, marketing initiatives, and other programs without staff. Now, a part-time executive director position will be established to allow for administrative support, growth, and responsiveness to new opportunities, especially as the localvore movement takes hold. This capacity effort will likely have a positive effect on other beef producers across the region.
